Our staff provides consultation — and a helping hand — in welcoming VIP guests to campus. University Relations serves as Rice's office of protocol, operates the Rice University Welcome Center which arranges special campus tours and recruits and trains the Rice Student Ambassadors, a diverse, multi-lingual, all-volunteer corps of elite Rice students trained in protocol, etiquette and the history of Rice University.
We have a large inventory of international flags available for loan to Rice departments for special events, as well as Rice tablecloths, banners and standing display units.
There are several facilities at Rice University available for reservation. Each facility has its own restrictions and pricing. For more information, please contact the appropriate Rice department or employee.
